In 2010 Kazakhstan plans to produce 18, 000 tons of uranium. Director of the Atomic Energy and Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies Majit Sharipov has made it public at an enlarged session of the Ministry's board today.
"Kazakhstan ranked the first in uranium production last year. This year we plan to produce 18, 000 tons", he said.
